Mokoto's education began in Mahikeng, where she attended Mahikeng Primary School and matriculated from Mahikeng High School in 2011.
Her passion for the arts led her to enrol at the City Varsity School of Media and Arts in Johannesburg. Mokoto graduated with a Diploma in Film and TV Productions from City Varsity in 2014. She continued with her studies, earning an Advanced Diploma in the same field in 2016, solidifying her position in the media and arts. Mokoto, a versatile talent with experience in television, theatre, and commercials, has shared sets with renowned actors and industry icons like Generations: The Legacy creator and Executive Producer Mfundi Vundla, the late Menzi Ngubane, Nick Medupe and Canesia.
A talented TV producer, Mokoto gained recognition as an autocue operator on SABC1's i-DENTITY show. She has also excelled in various roles, including planning, organising, casting, directing and co-producing student films like "Love is My Witness" and "The In-Depth." Her talent extends beyond the screen, as she has also significantly impacted the theatre industry.
In 2007, she performed in "Paradox of Life" and "Dintshontso tsa bo Julius Kesara" as part of Mmabana, showcasing her versatility as a live arts performer. Mokoto gained fame on television through her notable roles in popular series like "Ashes to Ashes" and "Generations," showcasing her acting prowess to a broader audience.
Her breakthrough role in "Payback" on Mzansi Magic and her standout performance as Bontle in "Lekgarebe" on Mzansi Magic, which drew over 5 million viewers, solidified her as a television sensation. Mokoto, a versatile and skilled filmmaker, served as the production coordinator for eVod's "Surviving Gaza," which won three Africa Movie Academy Awards in Lagos, Nigeria, showcasing her versatility and skill in various filmmaking aspects.
