Kagiso Legobe is a 17-time award-winning Tourism Practitioner from Zeerust in the North West Province of South Africa is a globetrotter. He started travelling t a young age. As he grew up, he then travelled extensively across five continents - this for his love for the tourism industry. He said he is privileged to have worked in three continents: namely America, Europe and Africa.
Kagiso is the director and owner of Kay 2ze Gee Tours, a decorated one-stop in the industry, which he established in 2006. Kagiso is an energetic and ambitious young man with extensive travelling experience and tourism knowledge. He has travelled and worked in the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK).
He is also a former Premier Recreation Ambassador, award-winner, and Provincial Recreation Coordinator in the North West Province. He started operating in 2009 and has offices in Potchefstroom, Rustenburg and Durban, planning to expand throughout South African Democratic Countries (SADC) in the next five years.
Kagiso has been a speaker and exhibitor in various Tourism Tradeshows across the globe, including the WTM, ITB, NYTTS and Africa Travel Indaba. His company package has toured across Africa and beyond, and Namibia is one of his favourite destinations. Kagiso also has a foundation focusing on the unique needs of children, and it funds young people from previously disadvantaged backgrounds who participate in various sporting codes.
He dreams of seeing people exploring and travelling the world to learn about other cultures and what the world can offer. Kagiso Legobe also specializes in teambuilding programs and adventure tours. Kay 2ze Gee Tours scooped almost all the Tourism Awards on offer for 2010/2011, from the local municipality to the National Awards.
Among them are the National Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Award (ETEYA), Provincial ETEYA, Local Best Tour Operator of the Year and the North West Province Tourism Honorary Award Lilizela Award. Kagiso has also ventured into farming and specializes in livestock feed at his popular base called Isago Boerdery.
Popular products include poultry breeding, racing pigeon breeding, morogo and livestock in general. His poultry division has egg layers, buff Orpingtons, Blac Astralops, Sussex, Leghorns Brahmas and others. His plans in farming are to export farm products to Namibia, Botswana and other SADC countries, especially lucerne, red maize and sugar beans.
